Victoria’s Work-From-Home Rights:
What to keep in mind when managing a remote workforce.
Victoria has announced new legislation that will give many employees the right to work from home at least two days per week starting in September this year.
Whether you agree with the changes or not, this will likely mean a shift for many leaders. Yet while legislation may shape where your people work, it doesn’t need to impact your ability to lead and sustain a strong workplace culture.
So, how do leaders maintain performance, collaboration and culture when work happens across multiple locations? Continue reading.

Passive/Defensive & Aggressive/Defensive Styles
in Conversation – Culture Bites Podcast.
Both Passive/Defensive and Aggressive/Defensive styles are strategies people use to protect themselves in demanding environments. Passive styles protect security through seeking approval, following rules, or avoiding risk and conflict, while aggressive styles maintain security by asserting control, competing, or apportioning blame to others. In contrast, the Circumplex emphasises developing Constructive styles, which balance task achievement with positive relationships and long-term effectiveness.
All eight Passive/Defensive and Aggressive/Defensive styles are explored in the Culture Bites podcast, where each episode breaks down what the style looks like in practice, why it develops, and practical ways leaders and teams can address and shift these patterns toward more constructive behaviours here.
