Integrated development system
Our distinctive Circumplex forms the foundation of the integrated system and is a quantitative measurement instrument providing a common language and theme to link these multi-level development efforts. Our materials target three key development areas: Behavioural Styles based measurement Diagnostic assessments such as the Life Styles Inventory (LSI) and Leadership/Impact (L/I) use the circumplex to measure 12 specific ‘styles’ of thinking, behaving and leading. The circumplex brings order to a complex array of factors which are related to the effectiveness of people and the systems they create. Competency based measurement Diagnostic assessments such as the Management Effectiveness Profile System (MEPS) and the Coaching for Superior Performance Inventory (CSPI) focus on identifying and developing specific skills and process areas. Behavioural Styles based measurement The Group Styles Inventory (GSI) also uses the circumplex to identify group behaviours and highlight those that are helping and hindering a group from achieving high performance. Experiential learning Team development simulations such as Desert Survival defined an entire genre of group problem-solving exercises. These allow people to experience for themselves the forces of synergy – when the co-operative efforts of two or more people produce ideas, solutions and products that exceed the quality of those produced by individuals working alone.
The Organisational Effectiveness Inventory (OEI) is a research-based measure of the factors that influence culture – the antecedents of culture - which in turn become the levers for cultural change.
