Coaching for Superior Performance (CSP)
In today's resource pressured organisations, coaching is seen as a fundamental strategy to train, manage, develop and retain talented people. All too often however, we expect managers to coach, but fail to provide them with a practical coaching process. It is only natural that an individual's manager should be his or her coach of choice, but without a proven process, managers often fail to deliver genuine coaching outcomes. What's more, most managers seem to see coaching as something separate to performance management - and this simply wastes an ideal opportunity to build performance through coaching. The Coaching for Superior Performance Programme (CSP) is based on our research into what superior coaches within organisations actually do. It is based on years of experience and observation of what works and what hinders. The CSP programme is a two-day workshop that is practical and interactive. A detailed Leader's Guide provides users with step-by-step guidance on how to deliver the learning material. Each participant is provided with a comprehensive workbook based on the principles of adult learning (learning through enquiry and discovery). The Coaching for Superior Performance Inventory (CSPI) is a 360º feedback diagnostic to complement the workshop. This measures coaching values, skills, process and application and provides a detailed report comparing self and others' feedback.
