What is the Human Synergistics® Accreditation Programme?
The Accreditation Programme up skills professional consultants and in-company HR professionals who wish to use a scientific diagnostic system for producing measurable improvements in individuals, groups and organisations. It ensures that all clients that experience the Human Synergistics® methodology can expect a consistent level of service and a quality experience as a result of the rigor taken in training the Practitioners.

What is the purpose of the Human Synergistics® Accreditation Programme?
To build a network of leadership and organisational development professionals who use the Human Synergistics® change methodology in a professional and competent way to build high performing organisations and create genuine transformation for their clients.

Who can become Accredited?
Organisational Development Consultants (both internal and external to organisations), Change Agents, HR Managers and Leadership Specialists.

What levels of Accreditation are available in the Human Synergistics® Accreditation Programme?
There are two levels of Accreditation available: the Accredited Practitioner level and the Master Accredited Practitioner level.

Are the Accreditation requirements the same for both levels?
No. In order to nominate yourself as a Master Accredited Practitioner, you will need to have practiced as an Accredited Practitioner for three years, have evidence of test-retest projects and have attended a number of relevant Master Modules.

What are the benefits of being a Human Synergistics® Accredited Practitioner?
There are a number of benefits including Project Support and Customer Service, access to tools and resources, on-going professional development, partnering with your client services manager and Human Synergistics® Consultants, our annual Conference, networking opportunities and identification with a strong brand.

What are the steps to become Accredited?

Can I choose not to do the Reflective Practice Workshop?
No. The Reflective Practice Workshop is a prerequisite to attending any of the Accreditation Workshops.
Accreditation Training

What if after completing the Reflective Practice Workshop I decide not to proceed any further?
You will need to pay for the Reflective Practice Workshop and the LSI/GSI Workshop. You will be refunded 50% of the LSI/GSI Workshop fee if you decide not to proceed.

Can I complete the OCI/OEI Accreditation Workshop after the Reflective Practice Workshop?
No. You will first need to complete the LSI/GSI Workshop.

Do I need to do a separate Recall for every tool I want to be accredited in?
No. You need attend only one within the 12 month time limit.

If I have already completed LSI/GSI Accreditation and want to do OCI/OEI Accreditation do I need to complete the Recall Workshop first?
Only if you are outside the 12 month time limit.
Re-Accreditation

What is the timeframe to complete all the requirements for Re-Accreditation?
You will need to renew your Accreditation status every 12 months. The Accreditation period runs from 1st April to 31 March each year.
Renewal of Accreditation status will depend on whether you have met your Re-Accreditation requirements in the previous calendar year. For example, when determining your Accreditation status for the period 1st April 2006 to 31st March 2007, we will be looking to the period from 1st January 2005 to 31st December 2005.

Is there an annual Re-Accreditation registration fee?
No.

Why do you have product usage as a requirement?
One of the basic principles behind being a Human Synergistics® Accredited Practitioner is that you are a regular user of the tools. In return, we provide our Accredited Practitioners with extensive support in both marketing and professional practice.

What if I am not able to meet my product usage requirements with the 12 month Re-Accreditation period?
Your status will change to Conditional. This status will come into play for 12 months. The tools can still be accessed but your reports will only be issued to you once a Conditional session has been undertaken with a Human Synergistics® Consultant. The cost for this is $412.50 per hour. LSI and GSI require a 1 hour session. OCI requires a 2 hour session and OCI/OEI requires a 3 hour session.

If I am de-registered, how do I become Accredited again?
If you de-registered more than two years ago then you will need to participate in the full Accreditation programme again. If you become Accredited within two years of de-registering than we offer you a 50% rebate.

Do you have Recognition of Prior Learning for Accreditation?
No.

Why does the LSI or L/I have to be the tool for my Professional Development?
We expect that, as an Accredited Practitioner of these tools, you engage yourself in on-going personal reflection with the tools.

Do I have to pay for my LSI or L/I as part of my Professional Development?
Yes.

Do I still need to do Professional Development if I am an internal consultant?
Yes – all Accredited Practitioners are required to participate in Professional Development.

If I have completed the LSI or L/I in an internal process, does that meet the requirements for Professional Development?
Yes, if the internal process was completed within the two year requirement.

What professional development are you conducting?
Professional development events are voluntary. These include in-depth Circumplex Forums or specific modules on a range of topics such as Validity and Reliability, Coaching, and/or Business Development. Some of these modules are pre-requisites for Accredited Practitioners applying for Master Accreditation.

How do I become a Human Synergistics® Master Accredited Practitioner if I am already a Human Synergistics® Accredited Practitioner?
To be eligible to nominate for Master Accredited Practitioner you must have been an Accredited Practitioner for a minimum of three years, be able to show substantive evidence of test-retest, and completed a series of Master Modules.
