Yarra Valley Water is one of Melbourne’s three water utilities.
A strong new vision from the CEO guided the development of the change initiatives, which focused around continuous improvement in customer service, building a high performance business culture, creating improvements in efficiency and reducing the organisation’s impact on the environment.
By 2005, the Organisational Culture Inventory™ (OCI) re-test showed how these initiatives had helped transform Yarra Valley Water from a Defensive, old-style public service instrument into a dynamic, energised organisation.
