What is 'Life Time Accreditation'?
In late 2008, a decision was taken to recognise Accredited Practitioners who can demonstrate lengthy, continuous use of HS tools, by appointing them to the newly created status of 'Life Time' Accredited Practitioner. The inaugural group was inducted into this accreditation status in July 2009. The full list of those Accredited Practitioners who have been granted 'Life Time' Accreditation status is shown below.
Benefits of 'Life Time' Accreditation
'Life Time' Accredited Practitioners no longer need to demonstrate, on an annual basis, that they have met the minimum usage requirements to maintain their accreditation. (Their usage will, however, be reviewed at 5 year intervals.)
Additionally, an annual induction event will provide networking and development opportunities.
Criteria for Appointment
Access to 'Life Time' accreditation is based on length of time since initial accreditation being a minimum of 7 years. At the end of each calendar year, the Practice Leader, Professional Development, will make a recommendation to the Australian Managing Director, relating to potential additional accredited practitioners to be offered 'Life Time' accreditation in the upcoming year. Appointment to this status will be at the discretion of the Australian MD.
The key criteria for appointment are:
- Length of time since initial accreditation needs to be a minimum of 7 full years.
- Accreditation maintained continuously – no periods of 'Conditional' or 'Lapsed' status.
- Volume of usage is greater than the minimum requirements for maintaining accreditation.
- Sign off by Managing Director.
