Mike Shove People drive the change required by organizations to do things differently and remain competitive. As a strong supporter of this thinking, Mike Shove, Managing Director for CSC Australia has recently been appointed as the Business Lead for CSC's global Culture and Change Management program.

His appointment is in recognition of CSC Australia's exceptional results over the past 3 years, and their ability to connect leadership, culture and the management of change to financial and customer outcomes.

Two prestigious awards won by CSC Australia provide further reinforcement of the importance of the customer intimacy culture the company has fostered in employees and the role this plays in defining CSC Australia's strategic direction.

Under Mike's leadership, CSC was recently presented with a national award for Excellence in People Management from the Australian Human Resources Institute. In 2006, CSC's Global Enterprise Service Desk was acknowledged with a Highly Commended award at the ICSP International Customer Service Awards.

Prior to becoming Managing Director of CSC Australia on April 1, 2003, Mike served as Vice President Enterprise Business Solutions for CSC's Australian Group. Mike worked for Digital Equipment Corp. and GE Capital for 16 years, prior to joining CSC, following the company's acquisition of the GE Capital IT Solutions (GECITS) business in December 1999.

As Vice President of EBS, Mike was responsible for the integration of the application services businesses within CSC Australia into one integrated delivery organization focused on Defence, BHPB, Government, Financial Services and Commercial customers, as well as strategy development and corporate activities.

Mike is a member of the Institute of Company Directors, Australian Institute of Management, Royal Flying Doctors Association and former Board Member of the AIIA (Australian Information Industry Association).
