Quentin is our Manager in Australia. He has a broad range of experiences in helping organisations and communities develop. He has been using Human Synergistics' products and processes in his organisation and management development activities since the early 1990s.

His 15 years of work within organisations and communities indicates leadership to be a critical success factor in their effectiveness and prosperity. The realisation of leadership potential through development processes such as action learning and action research have been a key focus of Quentin's training and development work. He was intimately involved in developing and managing a multimillion dollar rural leadership project which has trained hundreds of rural leaders across Queensland.

Quentin's organisational development activities include training and consulting in a broad range of areas. He possesses specialist skills and experience in team building, group facilitation, action learning, leadership development, change management and project management. In recent years, he has held roles in strategic policy, corporate planning and change management. In these roles he was an internal change leader facilitating major change projects involving the restructuring and developing systems within a large public R & D organisation.

Originally trained as an agricultural scientist, Quentin has assisted primary producers improve their management decision making processes through public education programmes. Working for a large agro-chemical company he was responsible for sales and marketing campaigns in the Queensland sugar industry.

Quentin's Masters Degree focused on developing a management development strategy for a 5500 staff organisation. Using an action research process, managers and executives were involved in producing a comprehensive strategy to address the development needs of managers and executives.

Quentin will chair the conference. He has extensive practical experience in assisting organisations improve their leader's style and organisational cultures.
