Neil McGregor Consultant Neil has spent most of his career contributing to the success of his client organisations through working with them to develop their most important asset: their people. His clients include large commercial organisations, local government and not-for-profit sectors. He implements individual, team and organisational wide development initiatives and conducts executive coaching and mentoring. Neil has extensive experience in real-world commercial Human Resources. Prior to joining Human Synergistics he was the HR Manager for DB Breweries in Auckland. Prior to that he spent four years in the Arabian Gulf working for the Arab world's biggest Financial Services company, spending two years in HR and the last two as Head of Corporate Strategy. Neil was previously the National Training and Development Manager for The Warehouse Group, a significant discount chain operator in Australia and New Zealand. Neil's current projects include the measurement of individual leadership effectiveness, group and organisational culture measurement, and the development and implementation of strategic and tactical HR initiatives. He works with leadership teams, both in groups and individually, as they strive to adjust their leadership behaviours to improve their organisations' performance. Neil has considerable international experience having undertaken projects in Australia, the Pacific Islands, Singapore, Pakistan, Bahrain, Dubai, Cairo, and Tehran. His overseas experience has given him a thorough understanding of the levers that support behaviour change for individuals and organisations in multicultural environments. He has also worked within FMCG, retail, local government and financial services industries. Neil has recently completed a Masters in Business Administration from the Graduate School of Business at Strathclyde University, Glasgow, building on his previous studies in Human Resources and Learning and Development.
